About
Rylee Eilerman is the lead rider at Setting Sun Equestrian, competing across Tennessee Walking Horse, hunter/jumper, eventing, and roadster pony divisions. A Boone County rider from a non-horse family, she found the sport at a summer riding camp and largely trained herself — a story the Walking Horse Report featured when, at 12, she won the Auxiliary Equitation Medal (Youth 6-11) at the 2019 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. She returned to Shelbyville to take Reserve Champion in the Auxiliary Equitation Youth Medal Championship at the 2025 Celebration. Her record includes three 2022 TWHBEA Region 3 High-Point Championships, a 2019 TWHBEA World Versatility Youth Reserve High Point, multiple KHJA hunter/jumper equitation championships, jumper and equitation starts at the WEC Ohio Winter Classic aboard Waterfall des Negres and Si'Vous Plait, USEA eventing with Kentucky Gentleman in the Area 8 Young Rider Program, and the Junior Exhibitor Roadster Pony Under Saddle Championship aboard Dress Code. She has ridden at every Kentucky State 4-H Horse Show since 2017 and won more than 40 classes there — capped in 2026 by division High Points in both saddle seat (Superdude) and walking (He's Armed & Charmed), Reserve High Point in hunter (Si'Vous Plait), and starts across seven divisions from miniatures and games to ranch horse. She is also a 2020 Chronicle of the Horse 'Lose the Leathers' challenge winner.
