Story
SiSi (show name Si'Vous Plait) is a versatile Setting Sun mare who competes with Rylee Eilerman in both gaited and hunt-seat divisions — earning multiple KHJA hunter/jumper equitation championships (Long Stirrup, Intermediate and Low Children's, including at the WEC Winter Classic) and Kentucky 4-H State blue ribbons in hunt seat equitation and over fences. Sadie is a separate horse — not Si'Vous Plait. Her State 4-H record with Rylee: Hunt Seat Equitation Sr. titles in 2022, 2024, and 2026, the 2024 USEF Training Level dressage win, and the 2026 hunter-division Reserve High Point. Her ribbon wall runs deep: 2020 KHJA Local Grand Champion Hunter (plus Long Stirrup Hunter and Beginner Rider champion), and points in both Children's Hunter 15-17 and USHJA Hunter 3' on the 2025 Winter Circuit.

February sun at home
February 3, 2019 at the home arena: a rare warm, bright afternoon in the middle of winter, so SiSi and I went out and schooled in it. Frozen ground in the shade, dust in the sun.

SiSi in her ribbons on the Fourth of July
July 4, 2019 at the Kentucky State 4-H Horse Show: SiSi (Si'Vous Plait) in a blue ribbon and a championship rosette in front of the State Fair sign. Hunt seat day, and she was foot-perfect.

Throwback: SiSi's champion day
Found this one going through old photos -- SiSi in her champion ribbons after our KHJA weekend. This mare taught me what a heart horse is.

State 4-H: buckles, high points, and barn crew grit
Rylee and the Setting Sun crew made it through State 4-H after a marathon travel week: 8 belt buckles, 2 high-point awards, and several ribbons. The Campbell County crew made it fun, and SiSi, John, and Sonny were perfect all week.
