July 31, 2026 · Horse Commons

Horse Commons exists because the horse world already keeps beautiful records — show bills, ribbons, barn boards, a name written over a stall door — and almost none of it survives the platforms it gets posted to. We think a horse's story deserves a page of its own, kept plainly, with its people's permission.

So we hold to a few rules. Consent first: every profile, photograph, and relationship on this site was reviewed with the people involved, and any of it comes down as easily as it went up. Sources attached: when we state a result, the official record it came from is linked beside it. Horses first: pages belong to the horse, and the people appear the way a barn actually works — as riders, owners, and caretakers around them. Noncommercial: nothing here is advertised, sold, or promoted.

We would rather publish a small site that is true than a large one that is scraped. The Commons grows one reviewed page at a time, and that is the point.

This founding note contains no additional factual claims.
